Position Details: NC FAST Technical Architect (636467)

Client seeks a contract resource to assist with the development and implementation of NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST). This role will act as a Senior Java developer to provide senior-level business and systems analysis, modeling, design and programming for NC FAST application development and maintenance operations using Java programming technology. This role will work with the NC FAST forms/notices team to reengineer some of the existing code for making them easy to maintain and scalable. While reengineering, this role will also help the forms/notices team document the business logic and create the unit test scenarios using Junit or JMockit or other tools. This role will also work with other members of the application development team in different program areas to develop forms and notices based on the existing and new requirements. This role will interact with the NC FAST business team in various program areas and work with the testing team as well for testing the reengineered and new code for forms/notices. This role will interact with the release team for source control and code build and release related activities for the forms/notices area of the code. This role must understand IBM Curam framework to understand the underlying rules for the different program areas for generating forms/notices. This role requires an extensive level of business application knowledge, a specialized/advanced technical skill set, or extended experience in a specialized/advanced technical skill set in to serve as a mentor in this area(s) to others. This role will provide application development and system administration/configuration support, and mentoring for creating new applications and modifying existing applications.
